Granitgard (often misspelt as Granitguard) provides a barrier to protect ALL timber products in the building. Granitgard offers a complete subterranean termite barrier system. New buildings can be protected from termites with one treatment of natural, non-toxic, Granitgard graded stone physical termite barrier material. Easily applied during construction, this treatment could save the building from eventual destruction. With a wide range of simple installation methods that are fully approved, Granitgard can protect all common building designs.
How Granitgard Works
Granitgard is made with specially graded and shaped stone particles. Used in combination with durable termite resistant strip shielding materials it provides a flexible, non-toxic, long-life termite barrier. This barrier blocks concealed termite access and forces any termites trying to enter the building, to go out into the open where they are clearly visible and can be easily controlled. Granitgard is a natural, non-toxic graded stone. The Granitguard system offers long-life, non-toxic protection from termites. It uses durable materials to form tough termite barriers that provide a safe and effective alternative to the use of dangerous residual poisons or less sturdy physical barrier systems used in Sydney pest control methods.

Termseal - Term-Seal Multi-Purpose
Term-seal multi-purpose compound is a single component acrylic based liquid which on curing, forms a seamless flexible, termite resistant and waterproof membrane.
Multi-purpose is applied by roller, brush or heavy duty, airless spray gun at a rate of 1.5 litres per square metre.
Multi-purpose is supplied in 20 litre / 26kg pails and has a shelf life of one year when stored in a dry place between 10° and 23°C. when fluid it can be, cleaned with water.
After curing, it can be removed by mineral turpentine. At completion of application, it should be left to cure for a least one day before tiling or back filling.
TERM-seal multi-purpose can be used on concrete slabs, concrete slabs, cement render, concrete and masonry blocks, compressed fibrous cement sheeting to form a termite resistant and waterproof membrane.

Term-Seal Fibre Re-Enforced Membrane (FRM)
A specialised, non-toxic, termite resistant and waterproof compound that is impregnated into a geotextile fabric.
FRM has a unique bonding band of 40mm that is used with Multi-Purpose to adhere to the FRM to concrete slabs and masonry to form a full and continuous physical termite barrier and damp course around perimeter cavities for all types of construction.
